Vice Magazine Vs Young Jeezy

Right then my little rapscallions! Have a blast on this little fucker. I find interviews with rappers incredible tiresome 97% of the time ("im the best" rah rah rah), but this thing cracked me right up.

Here we find a favourite rapper of mine caught up in the most cringy interview ever. Absolutely love the way Jeezy's interested in the question about boiled peanuts! Ace.

Flippin out

Okay, this is reaaaally swiftly turning into the most ignorant blog of all time, but don't be distracted . . . i may soon be rambling about Proust and Hemmingway next week, who knows?

Was thinking the other day about rappers and their jewels (probably having Birdman dreams again), and one thing i don't undertands is where they get all this disposible ca$h from! Sure they get paid for shows and whatnot but how can someone lile Lil Flip ball like this?!? Hmmm, maybe they got ties in the streets still (which im reeeally curious about!) selling thism that and the other. It's a strange one.

So if you fancy watching a very average rapper showing off his jewels for seven minutes, check this out. I like the chain on 3mins with the spinny centre piece :) !

"What the light hit the ice, it twinkle and glisten!"

This is fast turning into a Birdman blog, hey is that such a bad thing? Was lookin at videos of the #1 Stunna the other day and found this hilarious vid, had to come back a second time to make sure it was actually funny and not just me being in a silly mood.

Things i like about it . . .

* Hilarious recreations of Birdman's tats (check the teardrops!)
* His 'champagne'
* The way the cameraman cracks up after his 'brrrr!' (more of a 'crrrr! I thought!)

"I'm an icon, now i got the Rolex song . . ."

I fuckin love Wiley. Staight up! Thought his album was well slept on (Bad timing by Atlantic imo) but no sweat, the man's back with another banger.

MistaJam played it to me a few weeks back and has since been on heavy rotation on my internal jukebox. The beat would kill it as an instrumental but dipped with whats gotta be the sickest hook of year - it really bangs (Nas - take note, step your chorus game up!). Anyway, check it right herrrre

"Back and forth and forth and back!"

"I like the way she rocks and dips . . ."

I love an R&B possee cut and this is the best one i've heard in a hot minute, and daaaaamn doesnt Juelz kill it?!? I cant stand Rick Ross (sluggish, lazy and lies) but hey ho! cant win 'em all eh?

Here's my order of rappers peformances . .

1. Juelz (second verse)
2. Fabolous (first verse)
3. Ludacris (last verse)
4. Rick Ross (third verse)
